Currently completing a Bachelor of Laws at Curtin University, Marissa works part-time at TLS assisting with legal and administrative tasks. From drafting Wills, EPAs, EPGs and Probate applications to supporting daily operations, Marissa has developed a strong understanding of estate planning and deceased estates administration.
Get to Know Marissa
I am currently completing a Bachelor of Laws at Curtin University, which I expect to finish in mid 2027.
Alongside my studies, I work at TLS part-time, assisting the team with legal and admin tasks. On the day-to-day, I assist with drafting documents such as Wills, EPAs, EPGs and Probate applications. I also assist with the firm’s everyday admin tasks.
Getting to work alongside the legal professionals at TLS and learn from them has helped strengthen my understanding of Wills, estate planning and deceased estates administration. Since starting at TLS, I have deepened my understanding about this unique area of law.
I particularly enjoy this area of law as it provides an opportunity to assist people during an important time of their lives. I enjoy sitting in on meetings and seeing matters evolve from the Introductory Consultation to the final result.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy providing support to both the team and our clients.
